Bill McKenna, Ph.D.: When the sepia tone whiskey veil lifted from my eyes, I wondered, how am I supposed to be sober when addiction is our way of life? This book will explore both addiction and recovery at the societal level. Through the insights of many people, we will compare what is considered the aberrant behavior of those with addictions to what is considered normal for everybody else. We will look at what is uncommon about recovery and why it is so needed.
